Homecoming!

Service

Sundays at 10 am

 May 31, 2020

 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

1501 Riverland Road Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312

Hello, church family!

We are looking forward to opening up the church building for service this Sunday, May 31st at 10 AM! There is nothing quite like coming together as a family.

What makes this Sunday even more exciting is that it is the Day of Pentecost. The Day of Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit, following the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus. It also marks the beginning of the Christian church’s mission to the world. You can read more about this in Acts chapter 2. We are expecting God to move mightily at LWCC!

While we are excited to be back in our church building for worship services, we understand that it may take time for some to feel comfortable coming to an in-person service. Rest assured, we will continue to have the services streamed online, so we are all able to stay connected.

The following precautions will be in place to provide a safe environment for us to worship together:

  • We will use only one entrance and one exit to/from the sanctuary.
  • Temperatures will be checked at the entrance (anyone with a temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit will be asked to view the service online)
  • A mask or face covering must be worn inside the church building.
  • Frequent sanitization of high-touch surfaces will be done.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available to all entering the buildings.
  • Pews have been taped off to provide adequate social distancing.
  • Families will be asked to sit together.
  • No onsite children’s church or nursery activities will be provided at this time.
  • An overflow area has been set-up on the campus in the event the Sanctuary is at the adjusted capacity.
  • No offering basket will be passed. Giving stations will be located at the sanctuary/overflow doors. You are also able to give online at lwccftl.org/give or by texting 954-329-1199.

IMPORTANT: If you have been in contact with anyone thought to have Covid-19, if you have a fever, cough, or are not feeling well, please worship with us online.

We want to be adequately prepared for your return; please let us know if you will be worshipping with us online or in person. Click HERE to register for either our in-house or online service.

If you have a prayer request, please feel free to fill out the ‘Let’s Get Acquainted’ card in church or utilize the prayer request button on our website. If you would like someone to pray with you via phone call or zoom call, please go to lwccftl.org/prayer to sign up for a specific time, and our prayer team will reach out to you and pray with you privately.

We are looking forward to seeing God move like never before!

Pastor Rick Thompson

“On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.”
